Château Ollieux Romanis is a historic Corbières estate revived by the Bories family and known for organically farmed vineyards that express the depth and character of the Boutenac cru.
Cuvée Or is the estate’s signature Boutenac cuvée, combining old vine concentration with refined structure and subtle oak aging. Led by Syrah, an uncommon focus for Corbières, the wine delivers both power and finesse while maintaining strong Mediterranean identity. Its polished texture and layered complexity make it a natural fit for premium restaurant lists and specialty retail looking for serious southern French reds.
Carignan 45% + Syrah 45% + Grenache Noir 10%
The vines grow on red sandstone slopes of the Pinada Massif, where warm days and cooling influences support slow, balanced ripening. Carignan and Grenache are vinified with carbonic maceration while Syrah is traditionally fermented with native yeasts, followed by 12 months in oak barrels.
The palate shows raspberry, black plum, cocoa, and sweet spice with licorice and pepper on a long, velvety finish. The wine has earned strong recognition including 96 points from Decanter and 93 points from Le Figaro.
