Armagnac Castarède VSOP
Bas-Armagnac – 40% ABV
Founded in 1832, Maison Castarède is the oldest Armagnac house still in operation. This VSOP reflects the House’s mastery of blending and ageing, offering a refined and expressive interpretation of Bas-Armagnac.
Crafted from a selection of eaux-de-vie aged for a minimum of four years in Gascon oak barrels, it displays greater depth and complexity while preserving balance and elegance. The nose reveals notes of ripe fruits, gentle spices and soft oak. On the palate, it is round and well-structured, with flavors of dried fruits, vanilla and subtle woody tones, leading to a long, harmonious finish.
A versatile yet sophisticated Armagnac, ideal for neat tasting, premium cocktails, or as an introduction to well-aged Armagnac.
