Armagnac Castarède VS
Bas-Armagnac – 40% ABV
Founded in 1832, Maison Castarède is the oldest Armagnac house still in operation. This VS expression showcases the freshest and most approachable side of Bas-Armagnac, while remaining true to the House’s elegant and balanced style.
Made from a blend of young eaux-de-vie, traditionally distilled in Armagnac column stills and aged in Gascon oak barrels, it offers a lively and clean aromatic profile. The nose reveals fresh fruit, ripe grapes and subtle vanilla notes. On the palate, it is smooth and fruit-driven, with a bright, well-balanced finish.
A versatile Armagnac, equally enjoyable neat, over ice or in cocktails, and an excellent introduction to the Castarède range.
