After 5 years of aging in the Caribbean and another 3 in our Jerez facilities in casks that previously held Dos Cortados, “Dos Maderas 5+3” enters a third and final aging phase in casks that were previously used for aging Don Guido, a Pedro Ximénez of more than 20 years, to create the extraordinary Dos Maderas 5+5.
Old age: Minimum average of 10 years
Alcohol content: 40% Vol
With a dark amber color, this fascinating rum initially presents notes of fig and dried grape that give way to rich and ripe fruit on the palate. All of this is enhanced by tropical spices and wrapped in sherry wine notes, with hints of smoked oak and a touch of tobacco leaf.
