About

At the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the southeastern Rhône Valley, Château Pesquié is a family wine estate at the heart of the Ventoux appellation. Three generations of the Chaudière family have put all their passion into producing wines with the characteristic freshness and finesse of this exceptional terroir. The wine estate is run by brothers Fred & Alex Chaudière. Situated between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the vineyard of Château Pesquié enjoys an extraordinary micro-climate. The influence of the mountains, the altitude, and the cool temperatures at night are perfect for making wines with great balance and finesse. The Pesquié style is elegant and fresh, taking its force from the unique, elevated terroir of Mont Ventoux and the sincere passion of its winegrowers. Its cuvees in red, white and rosé are adapted to any occasion: fresh and light "pleasure wines", more complex and concentrated wines and, for special moments, the parcellary cuvees made with grapes from the best terroirs. Traditionnal grapes varieties are used in our blends composition : Grenache red & white, Syrah, Viognier, Roussanne, Clairette,etc.. The Chaudiere family produced also wines under the brand Le Paradou, theses cuvees all express a typicity focused on freshness and purity. They revive the olfactive memory in an instant: floral, fresh and fruity notes which conjure up these shared and restored moments. Le Paradou range is composed of one Côtes de Provence rosé and single varietal wines (Grenache, Cinsault, Viognier and Vermentino).
