Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines are renowned universally. Behind this prestigious name lies a world of unlimited riches, in the field of vine growing, but also in the field of history and culture. In the area of production, situated between Orange and Avignon, the art of wine-making has, over the centuries, more than proved its reputation by producing a range of fragrances of rare intensity sealed by an “Appellation”. This long-standing tradition, is carried out in the "communes" of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Courthézon, Orange, Bédarrides and Sorgues.

Owners of La Fiole du Pape, the most famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the world.
Historical and emblematic estate of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, as a family property since 1890, Château Fortia is located in the heart of the most famous appellation in the Rhône Valley. The domain has belonged to the same family for four generations. In the early twentieth century, the estate came under the direction of Baron Pierre Le Roy de Boiseaumarié who guided the creation of the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) system which is the basis of French wine laws. Château Fortia sits on a 32 hectare estate. The vineyard constitutes a single block that includes 30 ha of red grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre and 2 ha of white varieties: Clairette, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. The terroir enjoys a windy and sunny climate, very favorable to the cultivation of vines and all the Vineyard practices are in line with the terms of the Terra Vitis and High Environmental Value charter for sustainable agriculture. Château Fortia produces a white and four red blends. The white wines are generally characterized by a pale yellow color, they are dry and fruity with moderate mineral notes. The Red wines are of a beautiful deep purple garnet color. Rich and balanced, they can age several years. Each year Château Fortia wines are recognized with awards in different national and international wine competitions.
Château Beauchêne is a family winery producing Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, and Côtes-du-Rhône, for 11 generations.
Located in southern France just few kilometres North from Orange City, where the sun-drenched vines are part of history, Château Beauchêne was built in the 15th century by the "De Biliotti". This Italian Family followed the Pope in his exile to Avignon in the 14th century.
It is only after the 18th century that the Château acquired its final appearance, after some additional embellishments.
From the end of the 20th century, the estate belongs to the Bernard Family. They have been living in Provence for over 200 years and acquired their first vineyard in 1794.
Michel and Dominique Bernard gave a new dimension to Château Beauchêne.
Their Daughters Amandine and Estelle are now following their footsteps.
Château Beauchêne has 60 Hectares with about 30 surrounding the estate.
Two main types of terroir can be found on the estate:
Clayey calcareous soil around the Château; pebbles and red sands in Chateauneuf-du-Pape Appellation.
Two beautiful gardens contribute to the majesty of the place. First, an Ampelographicgarden, showing the 13 grapes varieties of Chateauneuf-du-Pape Appellation and a gorgeous “Provençal” garden with hundreds of native plants.
Chateau Beauchene is also a farm from the 12th century, which has been refurbished.

The Bernard Family
Since the 17th century, our family's winemaking activity has been documented by the purchase from the Bishop of Avignon of a plot of vineyard to the north of the appellation. Many generations have succeeded one another in the service of the vine, but it was only in 1954 that Lucien Brunel created the brand Les Cailloux in order to develop and promote the specificities and qualities of the estate's wines. Henceforth, the estate would be referred to as Domaine Les Cailloux. In 1971, André Brunel took over the management of the estate. Under his leadership, the Domaine experienced rapid growth: acquiring vineyards in Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays, and launching the famous Cuvée Centenaire in 1989. He also introduced significant changes in the vineyard management process, being one of the first in Châteauneuf du Pape to practice cover cropping and adopt a non-chemical approach to vine cultivation. In 2012, his son, Fabrice Brunel, joined him to perpetuate the family's history. The Domaine spans three appellations: Châteauneuf du Pape, of course, but also Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays de Vaucluse. Our pursuit of quality, respect for our terroirs, and the ambition to always offer our customers wines that they will appreciate as they age, drive us to take extreme care in their production, regardless of their appellation. The differences primarily concern aging periods (longer for Châteauneuf, shorter for Vin de Pays to make them more quickly accessible) and the use of barrels (for Syrahs in Châteauneuf du Pape to soften tannins, absent in Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays to preserve the freshness of the fruit).
Fruit of a long lineage of winemakers for more than 4 centuries, the Domaine du Père Caboche covers 74 hectares of vineyard owned by our family. Among the 31 hectares on Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, our vineyard is mainly covered with rolled pebbles with the greatest density on the famous soil of “La Crau”. With the predilection for Grenache, this terroir contributes to the density and fullness of our wines. From the time I joined my father, 17 years ago, I have perpetuated all the work done by my ancestors on the estate. I also spend a large amount of time and energy to evolve more and more towards respect for the environment and people’s health. Emilie Boisson

Guillaume Gonnet Wines
Guillaume Gonnet wines are the realisation of Guillaume and Kelly Gonnet's dream to explore the potential of Southern Rhône grape varieties in varing terroir in the South of France, and around the world.
Guillaume and Kelly purchased their own plots in Chateauneuf du Pape in 2015. With their vines, and selected parcels, Guillaume continues to produce wine that reflects his philosophy for winemaking - Minimal interference with the “terroir effect” by following biodynamic agricultural principles, ensuring the wine is the right blend of Southern Rhone varieties - Grenache, Syrah and Mouvèdre, to attain complexity, balance and soft, elegant tannins and following an approach to aging using very little wood influence.
Guillaume and Kelly’s range of wines has grown to include a number of outstanding appellations in the Southern Rhône, including Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Village, Lirac, Cairanne, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Tavel and of course, Châteauneuf du Pape.
This is what our wines are all about: translating the uniqueness of Provence, the violence of its climate, the aridity of its soils and the ardor of its people... Our summer-sun-drenched fruit offers the sensuality of Mediterranean figs, Mont Ventoux cherries and wild strawberries. Sometimes the Mistral breeze blows the thyme and rosemary of a five-year-old red Châteauneuf du Pape. Ripeness suits our wines well; while the fennel of the wayside gives an anis touch our great whites. Our wines are a journey to Provence.
From mother to daughter, we've worked this terroir for 21 years to bring out its exceptional character.
