From royalty to literature and French gastronomy, Château Meyre has evolved over time andthrough its owners who have shaped the estate into a unique place, full of characters at the gates ofthe Medoc region. Château Meyre, a human-sized estate with human-sharing values, extends on 19 hectares in Haut-Médoc. In 1992, the vineyard acquired 2 hectares in Margaux. Following its biodiversity andenvironment friendly philosophy, Chateau Meyre turned to organic farming in 2011 after years ofsustainable agriculture. The delicacy and elegance of its wines, supported by the quality of its soilsand the know-how of its team, have been rewarded in 2020, granting to Château Meyre the title ofCru Bourgeois Supérieur.
