Comprising a Blanc de Noirs, a Blanc de Blancs and a Rosé de Saignée, the Iconic range offers a gastronomic
approach. These wines, which either highlight a particular grape variety (Chardonnay or Pinot Noirs) or a specific production method (saignée methd for the Rosé iconic, a dedicated perpetual reserve for the Blanc de Noirs), aim to reveal the essence of their terroir (especially the Montagne de reims even for Chardonnay grapes), enhanced by a carefully controlled and extended maturation period in our six kilometers of chalk cellars.
With its unique, sleek shape, this was one of the first special bottles to appear on the market.
Launched in 1968 to mark the centenary of Champagne Canard-Duchêne, it is a celebration of the Maison’s wines and savoir-faire.
As well as being aesthetically pleasing, its curves offer various benefi ts at different stages of the winemaking process ans ageing.
Finally, in keeping with its commitments, values, and deep-rooted connection to the heart of the vineyard, Maison Canard-Duchêne has launched a program to reduce the weight of this Iconic bottle by 13%, achieving a weight lower than that of the current lighter Champagne bottle.
