Atelier Guibert

A new chapter of Guibert’s journey in the heart of Aniane!

The Guibert’s brothers and family are delighted to announce the birth of Atelier Guibert. Located in the heart of unspoilt countryside of Aniane village, Atelier Guibert estate is a Liberty and Creativity workshop, a space devoted to Terroir and Energy.

After Mas de Daumas Gassac first growth and Moulin de Gassac creations respectively in 1972 and 1992 by Veronique and Aimé Guibert, the Guibert brothers (Samuel Gael Roman and Basile) have launched the first cuvées of Atelier Guibert in 2025. While the first steps were made 10 years ago, the first vinification started in 2020 inside Mas de Daumas Gassac cellar and then in 2023 in a newly built cellar. Fruit of 50 years of experience, we proudly took our time to achieve the first steps leading to the birth of Atelier Guibert.

Atelier Guibert stands out for its willingness to explore without constraint and free from traditional conventions. It is a tribute to the original “fire” that ignited Mas de Daumas Gassac on one hand with a strong will to create new emotions and taste. Here, wines are primarily thought from the unique energy a soil emits where nature meets meticulous craftsmanship.

Atelier Guibert embodies our deep family respect for natural cycles, with an intuitive and harmonious approach to vine-growing. The vines, planted in Aniane village, benefits ideal micro-climate and cool winds creating natural richness and elegance. With 14 hectares of vines composed of mainly old Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Syrah, Grenache and more.

Through this choice of terroir and varieties, Atelier Guibert aims to magnify soils diversity, crafting wines capable of capturing the very essence of these landscapes. Freed from rigid frameworks, Atelier Guibert explores, dares and strives to reveal the authenticity of the fruit and the energy of the place.

«Here, freedom guides the gesture.» We seek to take time to discover and deliver new and natural emotions made without artifice, faithful to the most authentic expression of its terroir.

The Atelier Guibert creations are an invitation to discover exceptional wines, where each sip reflects the passion and commitment of the Guibert brothers for authentic, living, timeless wine.

Syrah 2020

This wine took its birth in the cellar of Mas de Daumas Gassac, 3 years before the creation of Atelier Guibert cellar workshop. However, the vision was very much alive; to craft a wine that we would age so it could be released at the perfect moment to enjoy it.

A wine that embodies sincerity and vitality born from one old vine of Syrah with hidden complantation of Aramon and Alicante, explaining it’s rare yields gave birth to 6000 bottles. The terroir is rich in rolled pebbles, allowing ideal ripening and combining both concentration and freshness. First aged during 1 year in Stockinger wooden vats, Atelier Centre France barrels and Vin et Terre Amphorae and then in bottles during 3 years for the nectar to be blessed by subtle finesse and balance: ready to be enjoyed!

Génésis 2024

A dazzling natural cuvée of 46% Syrah, 34% very old vines of Carignan and 20% Cinsault. Completely against fashion and time, its terroir is driven by sandy and clay soil offering delicate structure with aerial fruits. However close to the Mas de Daumas Gassac estate, a very important presence of active limestone is vibrant there allowing refreshing drive on the acidity.

Vinified with 40% whole, Syrah and Cinsault in semi carbonic and Carignan in full carbonic fermentation, then matured for 1,5 months in stockinger wooden vat, with lees steering to reveal an elegant body.

The nose is explosive, with a bouquet of fresh fruit: pear, grenadine, fresh fig, combined with notes of white flowers. The palate is long, airy and juicy. The acidic structure energizes the mid-palate through to

the finish, which is marked by the whole bunch of grapes. With only 2 grammes of sulphite added one month before bottling, the wine has never seen other added element, is the closest you can offer to natural wine with a capacity to travel overseas!

From the people and terroir to the clients, we are applying the same vision to our wine’s bottles, label and boxes; 440 grammes bottles, recycled paper, natural sourced colours.
