Casas del Bosque is located 70 km away from Santiago de Chile, 30 km from the port of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and 18 km from the Pacific Ocean. In 1993 the Cuneos, a family of Italian origins, established the winery in the westernmost and coldest part of Casablanca Valley. The large and old pines and olive trees that inhabit the area, as well as the little white houses made of adobe inspired the name of "Casas del Bosque”.

The vineyard currently has 189 planted hectares exclusively dedicated to the production of cool-climate varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère come from the Maipo,Colchagua and Chachapoal Valleys.

Casas del Bosque produces 1,3 million bottles of wine yearly, mostly from grapes grown at our own estate.

Exports make up 60% of the volume, distributed among 50 countries around the world. The remaining 40% is distributed throughout Chile, where it is a referent of style and elegance. One of Casa del Bosque’s main assets are its soils. The hillside blocks are composed by red clay of volcanic origin sitting on top of decomposed granite layers, formed 110 million years ago beneath the Pacific Ocean. This gives our wines a unique and characteristic minerality.

Over the years, Casas del Bosque, has become one of the most prestigious and sustainable vineyards at the Casablanca Valley, becoming one of the standards for ChiIe, due to its wide variety of wines and tourism. Receiving thousands of tourists every year, constantly seeking innovation to offer the visitors a unique experience. Tanino Restaurant was chosen as one of the best gastronomies by the Canadian magazine Wine Access. And has been repeatedly ranked within the top 50, as one of the best vineyards to visit in the world by The World Best Vineyards.
