His Barolo cru Briccolina is the clearest proof of this philosophy. The only vineyard in the entire Barolo denomination to hold the prestigious Demeter biodynamic certification, it is tended entirely by hand, threaded with hedges, medicinal herbs and lavender. This is not a vineyard. It is a garden.
