CAVIRO is the leading cooperative in Italy in the field of winemaking and the largest winery in Italy. Founded in 1966,it is an agricultural cooperative made up of 28 members (including 26 social wineries), over 11,000 winemakers located in 7 regions of Italy (Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily), for 37,500 hectares of vineyards. Grape production has exceeded 600,000 tons in the last year (about 8.5% of Italian grapes), for a total sale of 175 million liters of wine. It exports a complete range of Italian wines to 87 countries worldwide, from daily to premium - from Tavernello, Botte Buona, through Vigneti Romio up to Leonardo Da Vinci and Cesari.
